About Our Centre – What Parents Often Ask

How many children will be at the Centre?
This depends on their age. Younger groups have a maximum of 9 children, while older groups may have up to 22. These numbers follow government regulations to ensure every child receives the attention and care they need.

How much does it cost?
Fees vary depending on your Child Care Subsidy (CCS). Your CCS is based on your family’s gross income and your activity level (like work or study).

If you haven’t already, you can apply through MyGov. Once Centrelink assesses your application, they’ll let you know your subsidy.

We’ll take care of the rest, claiming your subsidy and only charging you the gap.

What will my child do during the day?
Each day is carefully planned with fun and learning in mind!

We offer engaging programs tailored to your child’s age, interests, and developmental stage. Our educators track each child’s progress and use this information to support their learning journey, helping them grow socially, emotionally, and cognitively.

Will my child settle in okay?
Every child is different—but most settle in quickly with help from our warm, experienced team. We encourage you to call anytime during the day to check in. We’re always happy to keep you updated and chat about how your little one is going.

How many days should I book?
You can choose the number of days that suits your family. We do recommend at least two days a week so your child can build strong relationships and get the most from our programs.

Are the bookings permanent?
Most families book the same days each week to secure a regular spot.
Casual days are available when we have vacancies, so feel free to ask us if you ever need an extra day.

How do I pay fees?
Fees are paid weekly or fortnightly in advance. You can pay via: Credit Card, PayPal, Internet banking or automatic direct debit. When your child starts, we ask for a bond and payment for the first two weeks of care.
